Prolonged use will cause windshield washer clogs. Rain beads off windshield very well. Not worth the money. There are other ways to keep windshield clean and have rain beads off.

This Rain-X Bug Remover Windshield Washer fluid is good stuff. I like that it not only helps to remove bugs but also offers the added benefit of Rain-X water beading technology. It causes the water to roll right off the windsheild on rainy days, which helps keep things a bit clearer. The product does not offer protection in freezing weather though, as it is only rated for use in 32 degrees or above. As for ease of use, just pour it in your wiper fluid reservoir, up to the fill line and you're good to go. As far as removing bug residue. It does a decent job. Not perfect, but I have yet to find a product that removes everything, on it's own, with no extra scrubbing, after a long road trip. This product offers the convenience of Rain-X's technology, with a cleaning fluid in one bottle, which is a major selling point for me.

Rain-X is a trusted name in the windshield wiper liquid for a long time. This particular one works great for long drives and highway driving especially in the nights as it does two things...for one it keeps the windshield crystal clear and clean and water just beads up when it rains and second it makes the bugs not stick and clean off easily especially in the winter and in nights. It is very important NOT to use plain water or water mixed with dish soap, vinegar etc. as some of these liquids can be very acidic and damage the internal components of the windshield washer pump which can be a costly matter for most vehicles especially the newer electric cars. Also, always ensure to keep your windshield reservoir filled with fluid as running it low can cause some of the debris ruin your motor.
