Not a Very Secure Fit

Had these before but the mounting has changed somewhat, not a very secure fit on a 2013 F150. Haven't had an opportunity to judge the wiping performance but they worked well in the past.

How to install on a J hook

This isn't a review of the Rainx wiper blade but an instruction on installing the wiper on a J hook. After some research, I found the Rainx wiper blades challenging to install on a J hook wiper arm. Here is what worked for me. Install the blades per the instructions, and if the clip doesn't click into place, the new blades are not inserted into the J hook far enough. Lay the wiper on the window, then take a flathead screwdriver and insert it in the end of the adapter on the J hook side so the end of the screwdriver is under the J hook. Use the screwdriver like a lever or pry by pulling up on it so the top of the screwdriver is pushed against the J hook and the end of the screwdriver is pulled against the bottom of the wiper blade adapter. That should force the blade onto the J hook far enough that you can close the clip with a click. It takes less than a minute when you know how to do it. I give four stars for good blades but poor instructions.

They seem to wipe the windshield ok but the clips that hold them on are junk. Cheap plastic clips didn't hold the wiper properly and fell off right away.

I bought the first time upon someone's recommendation. After using them for a little while, water beads up on the windshield. In some rains I don't have to turn on my wipers. They last a long time. Will only use this brand now.

Very difficult to install on J hook

Rain-x you should be embarrassed by this release of adapter. I had to pop off the closure tab to install on Gensis. After a 10 minute fight I finally figured out that it's a bad design. This is coming from Rain-x customer of many years and many cars. You will see returns due to this. All coming from a guy that has built 2 race cars and general mechanic of 40 years.

Bought a $23 - 17" passenger side wiper blade for a Cadillac SRX that lasted only 10 months. After a Summer of essentially no use at the beginning of November when it started raining 2x a week and I needed it the center of the blade tore and left a huge streak. RAIN-X QC must be failing. If it happens again I’ll switch brands.

I was really disappointed with these wiper, I had bought this brand before and they were excellent. These were terrible, the rubber blades left stains and marks on the wind shields and the blades were even. Really terrible, had to pay a new set of a better brand. Not, not recommend!!ones

I'm not certain why I waited so long to try silicone wipers for my Equinox? These wipers are so quiet and wipe so cleanly. I'm ashamed they sat in my car for several weeks before installing them yesterday. I'll make sure to report back once I see how long they last and how well they'll handle winter weather. (TBD) But for now, these are some of the best wipers I've put on my car in quite some time. Two thumbs up:) If they continue to perform as well as they do now, I'll definitely replace them with the same wipers next time they're due:) Walmart had the best price:)
