Best auto glass cleaner I've used. Gotta read the instructions. If you don't shake it up, it doesn't apply quite right. *I did run out of dry towels, so I used a shower squeegee for the remaining excess and the results are spectacular.

I didnt know if it was a buildup on the inside or outside of the headlights but i thought I would try the rain x ceramic window cleaner. I wasnt disappointed it helped rid windshield of haze. The water beaded up when it rained. It has lasted a long time on the windshield and makes glass look like new. This product would be great for car detailers to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works great. My husband used it on our cars and loves it. It sprays well, giving good coverage with each spray of the trigger. Once you start wiping the windows down, it cleans really well. You'll need to go back and wipe again with another dry cloth buff the streaks out but that's to be expected as it's stated on the packaging. As luck would have it it started raining right after he finished. He definitely could tell a difference. He said instead of rolling down the windows, the rain just kinda beaded up and stuck where it landed. He plans to keep using it on a regular basis.

We do a lot of road-tripping on the weekends and since we have been using this product we have had optimal driving visibility which has given me huge piece of mind (especially because hubby and I never travel without our 20 month golden retriever in tow. One application lasts for up to 6 weeks and the difference in the view is liking directly out of your window on a clear day.

Pleasantly surprised

I used this product between heavy rains and I was pleasantly surprised how clean my windows stayed! A little coating of pollen brushed off effortlessly with no streaks or stickiness at all. It says exterior use only. I would prefer to be able to clean both sides of the glass with one product.

With all these types of products, make sure you properly wipe the excess off. The instructions are clear and accurate and were easy to follow. I didn't detect any staining when the product came in contact with the cloth or my clothing (accidentally). My product arrived AFTER a major rain storm so I could not fully test the effectiveness in a natural environment, but by doing manual tests it does the job and water beads off the windshield quite nicely.

I can't speak to how it will work in the rain since it's sunny for us right now, but the water I sprayed on the window definitely rolled off faster than it would on an untreated window. It was very easy to apply, spray it on, wipe it off, then one more wipe with a dry towel and you are in business. Lasts for up to 6 weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this Rain-x ceramic-x window cleaner and repellent product easy to use. It has a pleasant cherry scent. You don’t need a lot of product, but be sure to have a dry towel on hand. I used quite a few. I got nice results even on my older car. I did half my windshield and tested it with a gallon of water. Untreated side had a sheet of water remaining while the rain x side had just a few long beads of water. I then ran the wipers and at first I saw a few streaks on both sides where my wipers were but that disappeared ( I might need new wipers). I then finished the rest and my windows look great!! Ready for the Florida rainy season!!

It's really easy to use: you spray some on your windshield then wipe it off, section by section, and then wipe it dry and just like that, all dirt, dust, and water spots in your windshield is gone and it is crystal clear. Not only that, it is also a water repellent - so you are no longer left with streaks of water left over by your wipes during rain, but that water drips off to give you a crystal clear view throughout. I absolutely love this product and my windshield really needed it. And it has a lovely, very appealing, fruity smell too!

Easy to apply with simple instructions. Rain beads up nicely on the windshield actually eliminating the use of using your windshield wipers. When you are using this product even inside your garage there are no heavy odors to trigger coughing. Product is clear so if you spill or spray on car there is no evidence of the product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now work and live in a very rainy environment. It rains 5/7 days. This product is a great rain repellent. I only sprayed the product on the left side of the windshield and the left drivers and back windows. I could literally see the fat drops of rain float past the window when I was driving. This was not so visible on the right. When the rain cleared, I could see a noticeable difference in the clarity of the windows. I like how clear the windows look. I could not smell any odors when spraying which I also like. Chemical sprays cause my asthma to flare. This cleaner did not have that. It comes with a thick yellow pad to clean the windows with. It takes the dirt off pretty well. My windows are much cleaner, streak free, and I could not see any dried rain drops that are normally clouding the windshield after a rainstorm. This is a great product. I will continue to use it for my truck and car windows.

Application is very easy you just spray on the windshield and then wipe it on the glass. Myself I spray it on a rag and it makes it easier to apply for me. It lasts a very long time and I only apply it a couple of times per year. There is no film or smear when the wipers are on so that visablilty is still maintained and if it is lite rain you don't even need to use the wipers. I would highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the traditional RainX. Thought this would be a step up. It is, BUT with this caveat. It's really hard to use. I'm not a short woman 5'7"...but you need really good access to your windshield for this to not be a fight to use. I wanted to apply to my van windshield. Too short to do this easily, so used on our Prius. You must follow directions and get tips from a video. I messed it up the first time and only parts of the windshield looked good. Hard to fix. It's not a bad product, but you need to realize how much strength you'll need to get a good application. My arthritic hands weren't up to this job. I'll just apply the traditional RainX and let my son or hubby do this ceramic one.

This 23 oz spray bottle is an Improved Formula. It has water beading technology which is really effective when it rains. Another benefit is the haze-free formula, which protects your windshield up to 6 weeks and provides enhanced clarity. We put it to the test. First, our car was spotty from the last rain we had. We sprayed all the windows around the car. The bottle stated that the spray was streak-free, but we found we had to use a paper towel, then a micro fiber cloth to remove any steaks, which then left a slightly filmy coat. The slightly filmy coat is what protects our windows from haze and allows beading, repelling rain from our windows so that we can see during all weather conditions. I thought our glass cleaner worked better at providing a clearer window, but the RainX was superior for protecting our windows. Second, we decided to spray RainX on the body of the car to remove the rain spots from the previous rain fall. Wow, this was impressive! It made the car look shiny and new, with a smooth coat (smoothed out minor scratches). It was as if we had gone to a car wash and had it detailed. And when it started to rain, we had no spots on the car the following day. RainX spray does a good job protecting the windows of our car and enhancing visibility during rain. It worked even better on the body of the car! We also realized it would work great on the visor of a helmet. It would repel the rain drops and not allow the fog to occur, so your visibility and safety while on a motorcycle would be greatly enhanced.

It’s been rainy almost everyday this past two weeks and after used this the rain beads off my windshield and makes it easier to see. Now if it’s a super hard rain then of course it still beads but you are not going to be able to see very well while driving. Highly recommend though.
