I love this product. It solves the issue of having to reapply Rain X. You simply add it to your washer fluid and it constantly adds the solution without having to make a separate chore of it. The product also works as advertised, making water bead up, making it almost unnecessary to use wipers, unless it’s raining hard.

I have purchased this for many years, recommended by many. It is the best way to add to your fluid reservoir to keep water and snow off the windshield. Twice a year, I use their windshield applicator to apply it, and then this is the additive to have a continuous, clear windshield.

I make my own window cleaner using the small blue tablets sold on Amazon. I mix Rain-X with a gallon of windshield cleaner, which works well when it’s raining and the wipers are on. Rain-X is an excellent additive for windshield cleaner, but if you’re not making your own, it increases the cost since pre-made windshield cleaner is expensive these days.

The title should be sufficient, but if not: this glass treatment causes water to bead up and slide off the surface as the car generates wind speed against the glass. It helps with your ability to see and allows you to use a slower speed setting on your wipers. Depending on the amount of rain, you may not even need to use your wipers. Personally, I use the additive in the wiper fluid tank in combination with Rain-X wiper blades and Rain-X glass cleaner. I’ve been using Rain-X for over 30 years and love it.

I have been using Rain-X for over 20 years. Although, like everything, the price has gone up, it is still worth the cost. I learned a long time ago to mix 2 ounces per gallon of windshield washer fluid. It doubles the amount of time that the Rain-X will last and I have personally not seen any difference it the performance of the product from light mist to outright downpour. Water literally beads up and is blown away by the air as your car goes down the road.

This is a more hands off approach to the issue and I feel it works well for its intended purpose. It is however not as good as the dedicated rainmax ones that you apply it and rub it off and such and hence the 4 stars. I did not experience streaking or other issues that people mentioned as I measured precisely as described but it is possible that if you put a little more then you would get some staining and such. I recommend doing a little less than the recommended amount and test it out for a couple of days prior to doing the full amount. I would buy it again as it is just easy to use in my opinion.

Although the price is high the performance for getting the rain off the windshield is very high too. The rain really beads and makes it easier to see. I do not find it really good at cleaning a dirty windshield, but I have an impression that the fluid may keep things from sticking to the windshield that would have caused the windshield to be very dirty. I notice some things still stick. It is difficult for me to tell for in the Spring a lot of pollen and seeds stuck, not its Summer and I do not see them anymore - I would guess the Rain-X is helping to keep them off.

The jury is still out on this, I had to add it to my tank because their 2 in 1 all season washer fluid just wasn't cutting it, no repellent or ability to remove bugs so I got this to give it an added boost. It does help with the bugs more but the repellent technology is still lack luster for me, I also have the repellent spray I can put on the windshield to add a protective layer but I shouldn't have to use 3 of their products just to get the effect I desire, esp when that is the main selling point of your company and your name!

Product works to some minor extent… I recommend doubling the amount stated in instructions if you want water to bead. Will leave a residue on your windshield any place your wipers do not touch. 3 star for ease of use and lack of result as stated in description. Would recommend getting the spray bottle and hand cleaning windshield then applying rain x original from the spray bottle instead of this

First time getting this vs. the usual premixed ran-x product and it was a success. At least here in the SC spring/summer. Water beaded better than any premix I have had in my truck and it was able to clear off moderate road grime and bugs. It was on sale when I bought it so was a solid value proposition also (makes 4 gallons I believe).

Does the job but it is hard to mix with the right ratio in the right ambient temperature. If it is freezing cold out, then you might want to mix less water, vice versa. You don't want your washer reservoir to freeze and crack the plastic hosing.

I usually but this stuff by the gallon, literally , but wanted to try out the concentrate to see if it works better . I paid $6.25 for the concentrate here and 4.50 for a gallon of the blue washer fluid . That's about $6 per gallon when it's all said and done . A gallon of the pre mix where I buy it is $7 regular price .That being said economically which ever one works better will be a wash and pre mixed will be slightly easier to use .Without knowing the long term difference I'm giving it 5 stars for the measuring slots on the bottle , small and easy to use tip and ergonomics of the bottle itself . Between the 3 it's easy to get the correct amount into the reservoir without spilling any.The pre mix doesn't streak my windshield at all but works great for about a month then I just do a quick wash squirt and it's protected again .The concentrate should work the same way .I'll edit this review if it doesn't .I'm using this stuff on a 25 Kona work solar glass.
