Product works to some minor extent… I recommend doubling the amount stated in instructions if you want water to bead. Will leave a residue on your windshield any place your wipers do not touch. 3 star for ease of use and lack of result as stated in description. Would recommend getting the spray bottle and hand cleaning windshield then applying rain x original from the spray bottle instead of this

First time getting this vs. the usual premixed ran-x product and it was a success. At least here in the SC spring/summer. Water beaded better than any premix I have had in my truck and it was able to clear off moderate road grime and bugs. It was on sale when I bought it so was a solid value proposition also (makes 4 gallons I believe).

Does the job but it is hard to mix with the right ratio in the right ambient temperature. If it is freezing cold out, then you might want to mix less water, vice versa. You don't want your washer reservoir to freeze and crack the plastic hosing.

need to replenish your windshield wiper fluid but don't want to carry around a big pre-mixed container then this is the answer. just make sure you have a 1 L water bottle in your car so you can fill up the reservoir with water.

I usually but this stuff by the gallon, literally , but wanted to try out the concentrate to see if it works better . I paid $6.25 for the concentrate here and 4.50 for a gallon of the blue washer fluid . That's about $6 per gallon when it's all said and done . A gallon of the pre mix where I buy it is $7 regular price .That being said economically which ever one works better will be a wash and pre mixed will be slightly easier to use .Without knowing the long term difference I'm giving it 5 stars for the measuring slots on the bottle , small and easy to use tip and ergonomics of the bottle itself . Between the 3 it's easy to get the correct amount into the reservoir without spilling any.The pre mix doesn't streak my windshield at all but works great for about a month then I just do a quick wash squirt and it's protected again .The concentrate should work the same way .I'll edit this review if it doesn't .I'm using this stuff on a 25 Kona work solar glass.

The best. Way easier then hand applying Rain-X to your windshield and works almost as well. I used to be able to find this item at any Walmart and other stores also, but in recent time stores are no longer carrying it. I hope Amazon keeps it in stock because it's the only place I can seem to find it these days!

Premixed works better for me. I mixed this with distilled water to ensure no residue, but the coating of premixed solution is not there. Price and mixing of filtered or distilled water to dilute does add much to the cost of using concentrate but when washer fluid in your car runs out, ease of use and cleaning power of premix seems better.

Great product. I use it when I'm cooking eggs. I never have a problem with cleanup. Lost 1 star because I'm now partially blind and I'm followed by a mouse that keeps telling me about 1 star mayonnaise I should buy my family for Christmas.

A great product !! Not really sure how many people are aware of this product and how well/ easy of its use. I've been using and reordering for years now. I usually mix approximately one third of the bottle to 3/4s bottle of windshield washer fluid. You CAN apply to your windshield even in the rain and it will be effective. Obviously if you apply just prior, you wont have to use as much. I make sure to fill my wife and daughters reservoirs for they're safety. Very impressed with this product and will continue to purchase it in the future.

Add this product to your wiper fluid (I just pour the fluid in and then add some of this) and it really works well to bead up the rain, which nearly a daily occurrence in Seattle from October to May. This helps to increase the visibility on the windshield when it rains. (Good wipers help, too!)

As always you can never go wrong with Rain-X products. I ordered one of these here because all the stores locally where out. The cost was a lot more here but I guess they get you on supply and demand. American Capitalism at its best...lol. I am rating the, Rain-X additive only at 5 stars because this stuff has worked great for me for many years. Sometimes I do not even have to turn on my wiper blades as the water beads and rolls off of my windows.

I've always liked Rain-X products but I'm disappointed in this one because I put it in both mine and my wife's car's windshield washer fluid reservoir and it doesn't bead the rain. I just recently ordered some of the original Rain-X and I'll apply it myself.

It's very easy to use. The bottle is semitransparent and has a measuring gauge on the side so you can get an idea of how much you're putting in. That was a great help instead of just squeezing a bit out of the top and guessing if you got it right. Hasn't rained here in a while so I haven't gotten to test it, but it beaded up nicely on my rain-x treated windshield.

I tried this additive in hopes it might improve the effectiveness of my wipers at keeping my windshield clear. This product works IF USED IN THE CORRECT QUANTITY. This product is concentrated and must be diluted to 4 ounces per gallon of windshield washer fluid. (I happen to know that my truck can hold roughly half a gallon, so I just eye balled about 1/8 of the bottle.). I found that this product does initially cause a haze where it has been applied, but after about 5 seconds it's completely invisible, with no residue. I tried with a hose and it made a significant difference in how water rolls off of my windshield. (this product is designed to cause the water to bead up making the wipers and wind more effective at removing the water. It's worth noting that I used this product with RainX windshield fluid (the orange one) so I am not sure if their is any chemical interactions that may occur with other washer fluids.
