I add it to the washer fluid on my side by side and it helps water and mud slide off versus sticking
I had RainX wiper blades on my old car, and know the RainX products work great keeping the windshield clean and clear. Having just purchased a new vehicle, I didn't want to replace the blades or try applying the spray polish. I added 4oz. of this additive product to my already fairly full reservoir, and it works great. This is not the method advised on the bottle, but I'm happy with the results and the bottle will likely last me a full year.
Jeep windshield
Keep rain from sheeting,!
This is a great product, I've used Rain-X in one form or another for 35 years. Every new car I've bought I made sure to treat the windshield as soon as possible. These days, that's as easy as pouring this in the washer jug under the hood. Really helps water fly off the windscreen.
Okay to be fair I replaced windshield wipers and also made my own wiper fluid with this + some washer fluid tablets, but it's night and day. My windshield stays cleaner for longer, no streaks, and the water beads up when I clean it like there's a barrier of some sort that's helping make it more waterproof.
I have stoped using this because I have been told that it can’t kunk up your pump and lines, but it did work well when you used
Easy to apply and works well during heavy rain in Florida.
Put more than the recommended dosage in your reservoir, but it does as it's supposed to do and I recommend it more than the original or spray, so you don't have to keep spraying and wiping it on so often.
Loved the product. Works like a charm!
Excellent Product!!
Does it's job, definitely not as good as a real wax coat of rainx.Still can tell it's in there though.
WORKS WELL
would recommend
Definitely could tell a difference the first time it rained. Would recommend.
It does a little repel on the windscreen. I’ve mixed it with plain distilled water and right amount of Rain-X windshield washer fluid additive. I’ll just stick with Gyeon view Q2 that one works the best and last longer.
Works well. Water beads up on windshield and slides off. Slight film may build up.
easy way to keep rainx on the glass but expensive
This is an absolute must have for anyone living in Florida or other rainy areas. Mixing some with regular windshield washer fluid or even just water ensures your windshield stays treated and its much easy to safely drive in those summer storms.
The water flies off I don’t even barley need to use my wipers
This product is definitely exceptional!
very good products you have to apply with rag wish they made it in a washer fluid jug amount
Rather than spray on, I add this to the wiper fluid reservoir, and it lasts the season.
At first, I couldn't believe this would work as an additive, no more that they recommend using, but so far, it has performed great.Yes I did apply a base coat to my windshield, per instructions. For the last month my windshield has beaded up and worked fine.I heartily recommend this product.
I did read some complaints that this stuff can leave smears and stuff and worried about that, but due to financial concerns thought this would be far more efficient than buying Rain-X spray over and over so decided to take a risk and try it.My own results have been pretty good.I don't see any smearing or anything like that.It basically Just Works(tm). One thing of note is that it is supposed to be measured and the correct amount put in depending on how much water it's being mixed in.I suspect that many who have seen streaks and such may have put in too much. Most cars don't hold anywhere near to a gallon, but the instructions for measuring are meant for one gallon, so you have to divide appropriately.Much easier is just to take a gallon jug, fill it with a cleaner or distilled water and then just mix that way so you don't have to do any math or careful measuring and have more of the cleaner for later besides.Use up whatever is in the car, and then just pour the new mixture in.I have also mixed this into a small spray bottle with an appropriately smaller amount mixed in and it seems to work ok.This effectively gives me a Rain-X spray at a far lower cost.It is less effective this way than the real spray, but it seems to get the job done fairly well all the same.
used both rainx application and rainx washer fluid
Cumple su proposito.
Love this product. Allows water to bees off of my windshield
I added about half of what is recommended to what was left in my windshield fluid reservoir from last oil change at dealership topped off with a cheap bottle of Rain-X wiper fluid “Bug Remover” for $2.98.It works just as well as a $50 rain-x treatment and it looks like the wiper fluid and this will last me 3 oil changes…maybe 4.
I've been buying this stuff for many, many years. It is a great additive and so much easier to use (add to your windshield wiping fluid), compared to the older method of spraying it on your clean windshield then buffing it in.Very effective, and if you drive in the rain often-- you will understand and appreciate the before and after. It is a night and day difference.
Very good product, works like a charm!
keeps water away from windshield, rain does not accumulate and wipers remove it quickly. improves wipers ability to clean dust etc. with a few strokes + washer spray. also can be used directly on windshield, but better dilute first.
Ok, initially I used this with the RainX Wiper fluid asI always do and was suggested as okay to do so. HOWEVER, half a mile down the road, I had to pull over - I COULDN'T SEE!! Please dilute the suggested quantity with at least a 16oz bottle of water...even with the wiper fluid All Season PreMix. I love the clarity of the mixes.
Like it en total
Excellent at repelling water
I always wondered why people seemingly forgot how to drive in the rain... It's because they don't have rainX on their windows!! I hardly have to use my windshield wipers when I have this in my dispenser. I like how this is a concentrate so you can just mix it with regular water.
I was nervous to buy it because some of the reviews but for the price, I figured why not. I must say… I have no regrets. It worked perfect for me. No streaks or anything. I made sure to follow the instructions as to not add too much of the product and haven’t had any issues the past few months I’ve been using it.
Been useing it for as long as it has been on the market, very trusted brand as well as doing what it is designed to do!
Rain-X is a great product this stuff is nice because it more or less turns whatever windshield wiper fluid you have into Rain-X wiper fluid
This is the Clint Eastwood of rain repellers.
I like my purchase. Seems to work as expected when added to the wiper fluid.
In rain the water sheers off so if you are going fast enough you don't need to use your wipers. The water just beads off.
It’s cheap and works well! Very easy to use.
Love this. I use it in the summer months with just water, and in the winter I add 1/4cup rubbing Alcohol.
Everything
Great for repelling rain. Works just like it should . Add it to water, put it in your car, and go. Then enjoy great visibility in the worst rainstorms.
just add to washer fluid and it does a great job. easier to use then the original but works as well
Works well
It doesn't get any simpler to use. Just pour it in with your wiper fluid as directed. Easier to apply than the spray or wipes and it works as well.
Excellent price
