It worked, but not as well as the Prestone De-Icer AutoZone used to sell. This seemed to melt the ice, but it refreezed after a while, which meant I had to spray more of it on my steps. I would recommend getting the Prestone stuff and putting it in a squirt bottle. That way you can spray it anywhere you need it, like door locks, house steps, and the like.

Winter performance is better than expected and the water beading technology is amazing, after a couple of weeks of use you start noticing that the windshield is like water repellent, so you need to use less your wiper blades
