Rain X Latitudes black streaks

I've been using Rain X Latitudes for a number of years now and love them, but lately I've found that new wipers leave a black streak on the windshield even after ensuring the glass is clean. It's easy enough to clean off, but this hasn't happened in the past. Anyone else having this issue? Love the Bosch Icons too, but they're pricey.

Found these discounted, and tried them. They lasted about as long as any wiper, but failed after brutal summer and cold winter. Worth the money, especially on sale, but won't outlast others by much.

These wiper blades work well. I replaced the blade on the drivers side about a month ago and put another brand on the passenger side. Noticed the rain ex blade did a much better job keeping the windshield clean. So today I replaced the passenger side with another rain ex blade did.

To start, I want to mention that I ran through and returned 4 different type of wipers that claimed to be universal and work for my blades, but were quickly proven false and didn’t work. I went to big name brands and MULTIPLE wipers for them not to attach and work. I almost gave up and let RainX be the last try. Boy was I wrong and I should’ve let this be my first try because it worked and plugged in within 1 minute on both of my wipers. Super easy and fit perfectly. I’m so thankful because i was struggling for 2 hours trying to make the others fit.

I was due for some new windshield wipers for my truck since the original wipers were falling apart. I wanted something that would get the job done but not break the bank. While I like how the blades perform, the Rain-x repellent was just a perk for me. I wanted a good blade that was easy yo install. I was formerly buying Michelin's Guardian Beam blades but they continually make the design cheaper and cheaper. I have a simple J hook arm but literally could not get the 26" blade to install. I struggled, returned it an bought another and had the same issue; even tried it on two cars. The Rain-x bladed snapped on in like 10 seconds. It took me longer to do the repellent prep afterward than to install the blade!

Immediately upon use rain X was on the windshield. Do not need to use the wipers as often of course with the rain X. It will be interesting to see how long this lasts. Wipers are new and swipe ciean and quietly.

The first thing I noticed when I took them out of the box was how heavy they were. They felt really sturdy and seemed really well made. They installed (relatively) easily and were a perfect fit. I went out this morning to leave for work, and it had rained. I hit the wipers once and the windshield was completely clear and had wiped with no swirls or misses. This is going to be a review in progress but... So far 10/10
