I purchased this for my motorcycle windshield and helmet visor. it's marginally better than using nothing. I followed the instructions to the letter and at first it seemed pretty good. I sprayed my helmet visor with the shower head and it beaded up fairly well. a few days later I got caught in the rain and neither my visor or my windshield beaded at all. I tried additional coats and it wasn't any better. it was worth a try but I can't recommend it for motorcycle windshields or visors.

i have used this product since it came out, works awesome for my helmet, especially how often I end up riding in the rain. there was a problem, which was not the vendors fault, it was delivered to the wrong house. I contacted the vendor stating that it said delivered, but I did not receive it. Vendor responded immediately and was on it to make sure I received the product or a refund. everything turned out good, it was delivered to the wrong address, but my neighbor brought it over to me. would purchase again from this vendor

Applies super easy. There really no noticeable streaking or haze. Keeps plastic UTV windshield cleaner and that prevents scratching when washing after a dusty or muddy trip. One bottle has lasted me six applications. And there’s three or four more left.

I got this for my Gath helmet visor that I use while surfing and hydrofoiling in Hawaii.Works well repelling water drops. I always spray it on and wipe it off just before going out in the ocean.Next might try it on sunglasses while surfing (sun is super bright here!).

My only vehicle is a golf cart. I don’t have windshield wipers and the windshield is plexiglass. When driving the cart in the rain it’s difficult to see. This helps, but doesn’t seem to be as helpful as other products.

I've used Rainx for years, on my my car's windshield.Works well. Really didn't perform the same on my visors and wantnot. YES, I followed directions exactly. Kinda crappy results. I got caught in a rain, and boy oh boy, it didn't work at all.

Stuff works wonders on motorcycle visors and any other clear plastic you can get it on. A little waxy and nasty smelling but, hello, it's to prevent stuff from sticking. Have to reapply it somewhat often on a bike because of all the crap that accumulates but once every week or two works wonders.Make sure to only use warm water to clean your visors folks.

I used this on the visor of my motorcycle helmet. I followed the instructions but the coating only lasted for about 10 minutes. Tried it a couple more times with the same result. It’s probably fine for a light rain but here in the PNW it’s not up to the challenge.

I've used the old Rain-X off and on for years.On a motorcycle it is even nicer to have on the windscreen.This is safe for non-glass and is perfect for my Harley.It isn't going to keep you going in a downpour, but for light rain, it works great.Also helps when removing bug splatters later.
