Re-apply as needed to maintain fog-free condition. If any haze appears due to excess application, sprinkle with water and wipe with a dry cloth or paper towel until clear
Overall rating based on 50 reviews
It’s good but you definitely need the right cloth to clean with not like a paper towel or anything
No problem
Apply correctly and you should be pleased with the results. It is a pain in the neck to properly clean and apply but if you have issues with the inside of your vehicle fogging up then this is the answer
If your tired off internet glass fogging up Or have moistureWellGet it i live in OH weather is all over the place hot or cold and snowI’m happy with my visibility now
Works good, good price
This rain x is one of my favorite products. Your windows will be so clean a clear to see out your windows. I’ll be smoking in my cigs not one time does my windows get foggy
I followed the instruction. My side windows are still foggy, just the fog is not as serious as before. I think it’s not necessary to apply this thing.
See huge difference with area applied. Recommended especially during cold weather
Spray and wipe immediately, lasts for months
Excelente, lo compraría de nuevo
too soon to really know
the product helps me a lot especially on rainy and cold days!
I like this product, when your windshield and windows are fogy you can use this Rain-X I recomenden 100%
Extremely straightforward to use. Clean the window with a towel and dry it. Grab some paper towels, fold them up, and spray them a few times with the Rain-X. Apply it to the glass evenly, and then use the dry side of the paper towel to wipe off the haze. The result is no fog or condensation on the glass - just clean and clear. Great product.
When I used it on car wind shield, I can see light artifact when sun hit at some certain angle. It did really work on car but I don't like what I see on sunny day. Now, I used it at bath room mirror. It works great. No more foggy mirror after shower.
Honestly i was skeptical about it working. But it does. I have been able to run my heater when it rains without fogging up. Key thing is to let it sit for a bit before wiping it away. Don't use dirty cloths. It been a whole 2 weeks without cold weather cloths.
Despite couple bad reviews that i saw in this product, it work. Just make sure the glass is dry and u use a bounty. After a good 5 hours the effect start to loose effect. I use it on my truck kept me 5 hours with good visibility.
Works! Bit it is a little bit greasy.
A bit disappointed on how long a coat lasted, 4 days.I have a concern that as the fog builds and the condensation runs down the mirror and drips on anything below it, no doubt containing residue from the chemical, is it poisoning my counter surface, toothbrush etc. How toxic is this?Obviously it will need to be reapplied but not even lasting a week? Yeah the stuff is really cheap but having to reapply it so often, maybe it's not worth the hassle.I do love having a clear mirror after a hot shower.
This stuff is ok, it works, but it leaves an oily residue on your windshield, and it isn't the clearest to see through, even if it does prevent fog. I found that shaving cream works just as good and you can buff it clear
I must be doing this wrong or something. No matter how clean I get car windows and how I carefully I wipe on and off.It works. My car and glasses fog up so easily, so it does work just I get smudges and streaks.I’ll figure it out soon I know
If you follow the instructions it does the job of keeping your windows fog free. The downside seems to be that your windows won’t be totally clear. It seems to leave a thin film which obstructs your view depending on the angle of light. If you have a windshield defroster (all modern vehicles do) then this isn’t necessary. Felt like a waste of money to me. Someone out there might like this. I’d recommend it for those who have older vehicles that don’t have defrosters or non functional ones.
Didn't seem to do it's job. Was worse with it applied than without.
I drive a school bus in retirement and the bus windows fog up easily on cold days with the many children on board. The drivers side window, although there is a defroster vent there fogs up not allowing a clear view to turn left. The back windows fog up preventing a clear view of what is directly behind you. The Rain-X interior fog remover has worked great to prevent this. I would highly recommend.
This is the best thing I could have bought for my car right next to my useful cordless mini vacuum! Barely any fog on early cold mornings. Make sure you wipe your windows well with a cloth before applying the product for better results :)
I have 2005 Mazda 6s and left my window open! It Rained, my windows start to fog on long drives. It very annoying, I used Rain-x Anti fog and help !! It perfectly worked no more foggy windows! Please used lint free cloth, spray onto it and wipe down the windows! Don’t spray it directly to it window, you will have hard time removing it and it will leave streaks
Used once and emptied in trunk. Most likely liquid inside evaporated from heat in trunk and bottle was not designed to hold that pressure.Did seem to help with my problem of condensate forming on windshield during a humid and hot Texas days.I hated having to turn on wipers every couple of minutes to get rid of that condensate. (I did use on external surface against advice on bottle.)There was a film on surface after application, but I found this to be preferrable to the constant obstruction from condensate.
packages came even earlier than excoected and at christmas time .packages were left rite were they said snd they even took oict of were they left it
Only works for a couple hours
Easy to put on but does require it to clean off and may take several tries. Works great.
First time use has proved relatively successful, but still doesn't defog as well sometimes. That may be related more to the car than the spray. Time will tell.
Trying to stop my windshield from frosting up on the inside!!! So far it's not working
Didn’t work as expected. Windows still fogged.
This was great for the bathroom mirror, where I don't really need to see through it. It's not that great for the car, because I can see it at night. I tried buffing it a second time, but that just wipes it off and then it's not doing anything.Would not buy this again.
This works well on cars and especially your bathroom mirror that gets all foggy during a shower. I tried it the first time on my bathroom mirror, and when I got out no fog! I would recommend this product.
Definitely reduces the fogging up, however it leaves a very messy streaks on the interior on the windshield that are very hard to get off. It is my third try and their are still some left. I am going to try cleaning cloth and hopefully it will remove them
It a good product
Also leaves more of a residual even after wiping it down he had a do it again
This seems to work well, but it's a major headache to apply. The instructions say to apply with one cloth, then buff with a second dry cloth. This just wipes to the Rain-X right off.I had to apply several times to each window to get decent coverage.I found the best way to apply is to spray it, let it sit for awhile, then VERY lightly go over it with the dry cloth to remove the streaks. If you end up with a small patch where you wiped away too much, may God have mercy on your soul as you try to touch it up without messing up the other parts of the window.Once I finally got all the windows done, I was impressed with the results.Should do away with the nuisance of constantly fogged windows in my leaky car.
It works perfectly for me. No amount of steam will cause my bathroom mirror to get foggy. I can't even get it foggy with my breath. My car hasn't got foggy at all either.
We use this anti-fog in our bathroom to prevent steam from fogging up our mirror. It works well on the first application but by the third or fourth day, the fog starts coming back. Not in full force but enough so that I want to re-apply the anti-fog. Thankfully it is quite easy to apply and takes only a few minutes.
used as directed to on windows and applications were okay, had a strong smell but went on but during daylight it was clear but during a night drive could see all the smearing's from trying to apply it and eventually i wiped it away, it did work for a day or two before window fogged up again so not as good as advertised
Came on with a broken spray nozzle...but works (after having to replace spray)
I followed the direction and it left a hazy film that difficult to clean.
Bought this to coat the interior of my sister’s car because she lives in a cold area and it takes her at least 10-12 minutes to defrost her windows and the front to drive off safely. After thoroughly cleaning the interior windows with windex 2-3 times, I sprayed this on a clean paper tow and “buffed” it into the interior glass. This is safe on tinted windows. The interior glass was so smooth to the touch and resisted alot of light fingerprinting. The next morning my sister gets outside and was floored at how everyone else’s car next to hers was fogged up and she was able to jump in the car and drive off no problem.
After spraying, I wiped the glass dry, and I felt it was okay at the time, but when I drove at night, the glass seemed to be coated with mist oil, and the oil returned after wiping, and I couldn't see the road clearly.
The heater/defroster in my car stopped working and it was almost impossible to get the windows to defog in the morning. I cleaned my windows really well, applied a decent layer of this stuff, let it dry, then used a clean paper towel to buff the film away. Worked like a charm! My windows were crystal clear this morning! Worth every penny.
Rain-X makes it clear you're not supposed to use it on the outside of your windows (it's even in the name of the product lol) because it can damage paint, but come on guys.Don't spray it ON your windows, spray it on a paper towel, wipe it on and you'll be fine.Works great! My car windows would fog up on one side every morning. No more.
My windows didn't fog up. Went on nice and easy works great 👍just make Shure to wipe it with a dry cloth to prevent it from streaking after applying.
Drivers window had been fogging up in the mornings from eye level up.Really annoying especially with oncoming traffic headlights causing glare to be worse.Followed instructions wiped it on with one towel, made a smeary mess, then wiped off with another until crystal clear. The windshield stayed perfectly clear on the morning drive today.
